3 items everyone has in their homes. And they normally throw them away!!!
Materials
Toilet paper tubes.
Dryer lint.
Used candle or melts wax.
Steps
Carefully melt down wax to liquid.
Stand tube up on a protected surface. Coat inside walls with coat of wax. Let it pool on the bottom.
Once wax is solid again stuff the tube full of lint. Cap off with thin layer of melted wax.
How to Use
Cut tube vertically on one side. Bend out flat. Use as starter to build fire as you normally would.
Works great on damp wood. And bonus smells pretty good!
